Örömmel értesítünk, hogy a Doktoranduszok Országos Szövetsége (DOSZ) harmadik alkalommal rendezi meg nyárzáró doktorandusz rendezvényét, a tavalyi évhez hasonlóan a Debreceni Egyetem Doktorandusz Önkormányzatával együttműködésben a Debreceni Egyetem impozáns központi Campusán.

A DOSZFESZT keretein belül olyan helyi nevezetességek látogathatók meg, mint a Nagyerdei park közelmúltban felújított és a látogatók előtt is megnyitott látványossága, a Nagyerdei Víztorony, amely tavasztól őszig megunhatatlan szórakozási lehetőségekkel várja az érdeklődőket. 

A rendezvény szakmai és szabadidős közösségi programokkal várja a doktoranduszokat. Ahogy az a részvételi díjak alapján is látható, kiemelten számítunk elsőéves PhD és DLA hallgatók részvételére. A DOSZ szervezésében megvalósuló szakmai programokon a doktori képzéssel kapcsolatos aktuális kérdésekkel foglalkozunk. Az előadások, workshopok és kerekasztal-beszélgetések célja az doktoranduszok felkészítése az előttük álló kutatói pálya kihívásaira. A szabadidős programokkal a szórakozási és kapcsolatépítési lehetőségeket szeretnénk biztosítani a résztvevők számára. A rendezvényen – a Debreceni Egyetem közel ötszáz éves hagyományait és a helyi adottságokat kihasználva – számos olyan program kerül megrendezésre, amelyek reményeink szerint feledhetetlenné teszik az eseményt.

Objectives of the PhD & DLA Symposium:

We have the honour of inviting You to the international scientific and professional conference XXIX^thDidMatTech 2016 organized between 25 and 26 August 2016 under the auspices of the dean of ELTE Faculty of Informatics: prof. dr. Zoltán Horváth, PhD.

The aim of the conference is to introduce the latest findings from the field of material science, technologies including education, information and communication technologies. Further purpose is to enable the participants to present the results of their own scientific research and professional activities with a special focus on the didactical aspects of education.

The conference is designed mainly for teachers who teach subjects in the area of materials and technologies, information communication and other digital technologies at different schools, or use modern digital technologies and ICT in education, also for doctoral, postgraduate, and for talented students.

The Joint Conference on Mathematics and Computer Science is an international meeting of scientists in the field of mathematics and informatics.  The series of the biennial MaCS conferences was jointly initiated and started by the Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest, and the Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, in 1994. Their topics include all branches of mathematics, computer science, and their applications. 

It is open to participants from universities and research institutions.

Model-Based Development and Cyber-Phyisical Systems  — New Challenges and Possible Solutions

Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) are often understood as networked embedded systems. However, characteristics — as, e.g., identified in the CyPhERS Roadmap Europe — of CPS highlight challenges, which illustrate a real shift of paradigm compared to those systems. The presentation identifies — starting from the stateof-art tool-supported technologies of model-based development as found in the automotive domain, and following the characterization of CPS provided in CyPhERS — three principles, which present new dimensions of system complexity. Furthermore, the presentation illustrates model-based approaches to address these dimensions, using networked energy systems as an example.

Incremental Queries and Transformations for Engineering Critical Systems

Model-driven engineering (MDE) is widely used nowadays in the design of embedded systems, such as in the automotive, avionics or telecommunication domains. Behind the scenes, design and verification tools frequently exploit advanced model query and transformation techniques to support various rich tool features. The rapid increase in the size and complexity of system models has drawn significant attention to incremental model query and transformation approaches, which enable fast and incremental reactions to model changes caused by systems engineers or automated design steps. In this presentation, we overview two open source Eclipse projects, IncQuery and VIATRA, which have been actively used as a basis for developing various academic and industrial tools for critical systems.
